Kudos to her parents. She’s seems to be a fine, well grounded young lady. Good luck with your career.

I completely agree. Though, if you have a decent Warmblood and your a soft and effective rider then you may have a shot. :3

Her father – you know, that Bruce guy – was going to buy her a million dollar horse named Pavarotti, but the deal didn’t go through. How can other equestrians compete against a girl whose father’s estimated worth is in the hundreds of millions of dollars, and can drop a million bucks for a horse at the drop of a hat? They can’t.

I do applaud her, though, for not winding up a criminal or drug addict like the sons and daughters of so many rock stars. Bruce and Patty are doing something right.

Theyre looking very deep into each others souls hahahahaha

Yes she is an amazing rider, but if I had all that money I could probably be just as good. She has the money to hire the top trainers, buy top horses, and show all around the world. Obviously she works hard to be a good rider, but it’s easier to be the best you can be when you’re learning from world-class trainers and riding horses worth hundreds of thousands of dollars. Let’s face it, this sport is all about money, and it’s hard to get anywhere without it.

This has always been a sport for those with money. Purchasing and owning a horse is costly. Competing is costly. Just because someone has money does not make them any less serious about the sport they have chosen. EVERY person competing in this sport has money. Nobody got into this sport, and succeeded, through determination and drive, alone. For those who think otherwise, you’re fooling yourself. It an expensive sport, and from what I can see, JS is not wasting her time or her money.

ur dumb the rider does matter if the rider is good and she has talent and she has to practice u gotta help the horse and every thing

  12. Anonymous says:

Sure she didn’t have to practice months and months in advance. Sure she doesn’t have any talent, she is actually horrible, the horse works like a car once you start it, the rider doesn’t matter, right?

    amen to that!

I show in the jumper world and showed EQ a LONG time ago. Jessica seems like a really nice girl and a good rider. BUT i will say that MONEY has A LOT to do with it. if i had the quarter million dollar horse and all the money to show around the country and world….i could be there too. YES you have to be able to ride well, but money is really the main thing….

Im sure her horse is about 300,000k. And her equitation is beautiful.. Im pretty sure you havn’t won Maclay Finals, and until then i dont think you can say whether or not she has good eq..

  16. Anonymous says:

her horse probably cost more than that. but it’s an eq class and she so doesnt have horrible eq, get real!

  17. Anonymous says:

i dont see u winning the maclay

jessica is an awsome rider. her dad has nothing to do with her sucess. the only thing he has to do wih this is giving her support. they interview everyone that they can get there hands on its random. trust me ik!

I hope this is jumpers or hunters cause she has HORRIBLE equ its just her 50,000 dollar horse that is doing everything!

  20. Anonymous says:

    Is this EQ or jumpers?

  21. Anonymous says:

Someday i wish to ride like her(:

  22. Anonymous says:

    No

She is so elegant and so graceful. I really hope she makes it into the Olympics.

Her father is just a normal “horse dad” at the shows. He is very cool and even waits in line like everybody else at the hot truck. Actually, he is much nicer than most of the other parents all vying for social position in the hunter/jumper scene.

i wonder how awkward the guy that has to wear the red coat and the top hat feels. :p
