What is the fuss with this? Do indian/pakistani cultures enjoy watching beautiful free creatures harnessed and doing those ridiculous dances?

This is really no different than the tie-downs, wire bits, gag bits/bridals, the ‘cowboy’ style of breaking horses or even a more number of things that exist in both english and western type of horsemanship. There is the good, the bad, and the ugly. These horses are not scarred, have no welts or wounds, and are in beautiful condition. They are tense yes, but no more than any other high level performance horse in the middle of competing.

These are amazing animals! I cant believe that people would call this animal cruelty because theres a few ropes involved. How do you think people train horses? I have my own, and are around them everyday, and this is not animal cruelty.

its just the traditional dance of different cultures for the horses but some may be wild as well..

Some of the cultures have many rituals & the ropes tied i guess its not condred as being cruel its for ppls saftey that a horse doing this will not get loose & run in the crowd.

This is an international website, how can anybody on it be foreign? And you’re saying that it’s bad to be from somewhere that you’re not?

  17. Anonymous says:

Why don’t the musicians do that to each other? Make them wear what the horse does? Why make the horse do it for them?
